Google Duplex passes the Turing Test

What you are about to see and hear will be celebrated by many — and — disturbing to others. A consumer-service for the masses has passed the Turing test: “The Turing test, developed by Alan Turing in 1950, is a test of a machine’s ability to exhibit intelligent behavior equivalent to, or indistinguishable from, that of a human.
